Jive Classes 7.45 to 10.00 pm
7.45 Doors open, welcome and warm-up dancing
8.00 Jive Level 1 (60 mins)
9.00 Jive Level 2 (60 mins)
New beginners need to take Level 1 classes for a while to prepare for the Level 2 classes and we offer regular start dates for - roughly monthly. You can book your first 4-week block on-line at a discount. The weekly price is £5
Start dates for new beginners will be published when we know more about changes regarding the current pandemic.
Level 2 is for those with some experience and we can advise when to try this.

Located at the junction with Harrogate Rd which leads to the A4074 Woodcote Rd to Wallingford. This is a spacious hall with a wooden floor and on-site parking. SEE MAP BELOW.

We recognise that each student will progress at their own speed and are ready to patiently coach and encourage you with an emphasis on enjoying the journey that you are on. Dancers who intend to stretch themselves will be supported upon request. We also offer many great social dance events for you: it's a great way to expand your social circle and to get that valuable practice time.
We ask every student to be aware of their limitations and fitness level and to dance within their physical limitations. We want you to cross the fun threshold not the pain threshold. Most of our students don't want to work physically hard. If exercise is one of your major motivations then we can give you tips on how to put extra energy into your dancing and how to ease back when you want to.
Nobody begins dancing as a skilled dancer. Our public classes prepare you for having fun by getting you social dance ready rather than competition ready. You should expect to improve your balance and spacial awareness as well of your general fitness and that is one of the reasons why people get hooked on the benefits of social swing dancing. And if you find that your friends and family are impressed by your new skills then that is a bonus.
